Client's Sentence Reduced by 7 Years

Appellate Advocates client Alty Adamson had been serving an aggregate term of 39 years because his trial judge ran his all three of his terms (25 years for first-degree burglary, and 7 years each for two counts of second-degree assault) consecutively.  On appeal, the Second Department ordered that the assault counts should run concurrently with each other, reducing Mr. Adamson's sentence by 7 years.

Josh Levine briefed and argued the case for Appellate Advocates.
