Client's Sentence Reduced by 15 years
Appellate Advocates client Jesus Tendilla-Fuentes was convicted of first-degree manslaughter and attempted first-degree assault. The court sentenced him to consecutive terms of 25 years for first-degree manslaughter and 15 years for attempted first-degree assault. The Appellate Division, Second Department, held that this was excessive and ordered the two sentences to be run concurrently.
Tammy Linn briefed and argued the case on behalf of Appellate Advocates.
